Pedaling Through Uncertainty: Dodging Rain and Reaching Goals
Afternoon start for today’s bike ride after getting home from church and a snack. Rolled out on my Lynskey Helix bike at 1;47 PM with a route in mind through Kingwood, over to US59 for short ride north and then back through Brooklyn Trails. I guessed the ride would be 20 miles but it probably would be longer. I was on course but as I rode through Sherwood Trails, north on Woodland Hills Drive light began. I changed the route to not go to US59 and Brooklyn Trails instead heading through North woodland Hills Village and Bear Branch Village back home at 3:45 PM. Real rain never materialized though. I rode 22.86 miles to finish the week for a total of 224.58 miles. Two rides on Zwift and 5 ride on the road. March riding totals 514.24 miles with 444 road miles and the rest on Zwift. My road mile goal is 680 miles, getting closer. I need 236 more road miles.
