Now in its 23rd year, Kids Cup is a great way to introduce kids to the fun of off road riding. The program is sponsored and managed by James Webb and Team YEAH!. The Kids Cup races are usually held the Saturday before TMBRA race- but check the individual race flyers or the riders forum for exact details. The program is always free and open to the general public. You don’t have to be a mountain bike racer to have your child participate! (Note: some venues are private ranches or state Parks and many charge an entry fee.) Registration usually starts at noon. Breaking Ground On 16 Miles of New Hike & Bike Trail

WESLACO – Hidalgo County Precinct 1 Commissioner David L. Fuentes announced that work has begun on the Precinct 1 Hike & Bike Trail, one portion of a countywide system that will eventually link several Hidalgo County communities. His staff is also offering to give the media a tour of the trail.

The Rocky Ruckus Ramble Race at 4R Ranch kicked off the north conference Season XIII for the Texas Interscholastic Mountain Bike League. It brought together 6-12th grade student-athletes from all over North Texas for a weekend of mountain bike racing!
