Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – TxDOT installed a new new pedestrian bridge over us-75 this past weekend.

Metro removing floating bus stops along Heights in favor of old design

Along Heights Boulevard, it seems floating bus stops didn’t fly.
After installing two large concrete platforms as part of a divisive redesign of 11th Street, which acted as the bus stops while protecting the bike lanes along Heights, crews are now tearing them out and returning the street to its previous design.

The City Hall Ride for Northeast Denton will take off Saturday morning, Sept. 16 with a bike ride from the northeast corner of the Courthouse on the Square to Hartlee Field Road in northeast Denton for a scenic tour to showcase why residents are trying to save it from developers.
Organized by concerned residents, cyclists will meet at 7:45 a.m. Saturday on the northeast side of the courthouse and begin their ride to Hartlee Field Road.

A new project aims to connect Memorial Park and Buffalo Bayou Park with a pedestrian and cycling-friendly path.
