A mile-long missing link in the Violet Crown Trail is now complete and open to the public. This new segment in Sunset Valley guides trailblazers from the end of Home Depot Boulevard, through a wooded area, under MoPac, and up to the Garza Ranch development close to the Arbor Trails Shopping Center.

Just needed an easy ride this evening to spin out my legs. It was also probably the last ride I’ll do from “my shop” as I start a new job on Monday. Of course, it was kind of emotional for me because before my crash, I used to always ride from #MyShop. After the crash however, when I finally started riding again thanks to The Snakedoctor, Jeff Skokan, I never left from #MyShop. When I finally dared to do it again, I would often get lost at various points… Often in the labyrinth of Fair Oaks Ranch. Like I always do, though, I kept at it until I had it down. I’m sure this is just a transitional phase, and once I get my new job down, I will have a new route and pattern. As always, I think, my Lord and Savior, a Jesus, Christ, for saving me both physically and spiritually, for allowing me to return to this sport, that I love, and for another safe ride with out any mechanicals or flats.?
