North to Tavola and back comprised today’s bike ride. 12 days ago was the previous ride on my New Caney – Tavola – Valley Ranch route. With my July goal in hand today’s miles got me closer to 900 for the month (839.2 miles now). For the second ride in a row I used my Canyon Endurace bike wheels down at 8:47 AM finishing at 11:52 AM at 36.5 miles. The week’s miles now is 117.23. No cyclist spotted during the ride, those usually happen when I ride south and east. The dew point was lower and the air felt cool as I rode, a pleasant feeling. The Canyon bike now has 802 miles. It rides so smooth. This was the 7th ride on the route in 2023 and today’s miles was the average distance. I’ve used 3 different bikes this year: Cervelo 4 rides, Canyon 2 rides, and Lynskey 1 ride. I reclaimed the Strava Local Legend on Trikelly.
