Crews are on site already to prepare for construction starting this week. The council’s approval of the project adds a major amenity competitive with projects of our suburban neighbors.
Leading trail builders often pursue projects on hundreds of acres in places like Colorado, Wyoming or Arkansas. This trail, within 10 miles of more than 600,000 people — a diverse community where many …

Biking to work is a great way to get exercise, reduce your carbon footprint, and save money on gas. It is also a fun and healthy way to start your day. If you have never biked to work before, I encourage you to give it a try during Bike to Work Week, May 15-21. #BikeToWorkWeek pic.twitter.com/ZNlhMPp7pf

For national bike to work week, I braved McKinney from city hall all the way to Mayhill. I don't recommend it. Very little sidewalk, the shoulder is very narrow at points, and folks will hate you for making them do 25 in a 30, instead of their usual 45MPH. pic.twitter.com/Hz7g5SigM9
