Maybe A Paddle Bike This Week?
This was a wet week for bike rides. I think of April being a wetter month but May is a challenger. Tuesday was shortened by rain, Wednesday was a washout and Saturday I got caught in rain twice. Sunday was another rainout. I made up for the Sunday rain after church watching stage 9 of the Giro D’Italia, the men’s and women’s UCI XCO MTB races, the also wet and neutralized Tour de Hungary, and the Itzulia Women race. On the upside I rode 188.87 miles and maintained a small cushion over the pace to reach my 750 mile goal for May. I was on the bike 5 days out of seven. I rode my Cervelo Caledonia 3 times and Lynskey Helix 2 times. The average ride was 37.77 miles. The longest was 44.78 miles.
I’ve done 11 May bike rides so and need 331 miles to reach my 750 mile goal, over halfway to there. The average ride was 38.14 miles and the longest was 44.78.
