Texas MS 150 returns, as thousands of cyclists raise millions to fight multiple sclerosis

HOUSTON – For the first time, since before the COVID-19 pandemic, cyclists are ready to set out for the annual Texas MS 150 fundraising bike tour to raise money in the fight against multiple sclerosis.
After COVID-19 restrictions, and a terrible storm last year, that forced a last-minute cancellation, thousands are ready to go.

Danielle Koblinski, a full-time fitness instructor from River Oaks, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the height of her career. It didn’t stop her, though.
She is riding in the Texas MS 150 cycling marathon this weekend in an effort to inspire and create more awareness of the disease across Houston.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A group of people are raising money for local Children’s hospitals by embarking on a 500-mile bike ride/run.
Adriano Viera and his team call it the Texas 500. The group will start out in Dallas on Sunday, May 1 and Bike to Austin. After that, they’ll run back to Dallas. The goal is to complete their journey within one week.
