The Laredo Mountain Bike Youth team has only been around since 2012 and has made strides in the past 10 years. This past season, the team placed among the best high school mountain bike teams in Texas
The Laredo team is comprised of Alexander and United high school cyclists including Marianne Bautista, Avril Dominguez, Idania Dominguez, Sophia Granados, Iker Jaimes, Jose Antonio Martinez Jr., Daniel Musquiz and Melanie Reyes. They took home second place at the Texas High School Mountain Bike State Championship JV 2 Division and were sixth place overall to conclude a great season.
