Sugar Land City Council celebrates EMS and Public Works’ employees; recognizes Bike Month, Mental Health Awareness Month

In an effort to support National Bike Month, the Sugar Land City Council officially recognized May 2021 as Bike Month in the city of Sugar Land.
The city will celebrate Bike Month by promoting weekly self-guided bicycle tours throughout Sugar Land.

Organization gives bikes to children of local Purple Heart veterans

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A yearly giveaway to benefit children of Purple Heart veterans is struggling this year due to the pandemic.
The Red, White and Bike organization gives bikes to the children and younger siblings of combat veterans that were wounded or killed in action, and Saturday the VFW Post 2397 gave out four bikes to a group of these children.

130 of the 155 / got late / was’nt riding well. Cold ,Wet, tossed the towel in. At my pace figured I still had 2+ hours ride time. Anyways great riding area beautiful countryside. Really like the place. Will have to put in more consistent saddle time, and come back for another round.
