Today was a very awesome day riding. I arrived at a beautiful campground at Fort Clark in Brackettville at 3 PM. It’s my earliest arrival except for my first day when it was 3 PM but my phone thought it was 4. The first 32 miles to Del Rio flew by. Fort Clark was an actual army fort which is been restored and is quite quite large. The poster on the wall tells me that Robert E Lee, Ulysses S Grant, Douglas MacArthur, and George S Patton all served here. Now they can add my name to the list.
