Anavid Reyes | www.click2houston.com
HOUSTON – A green and lush transformation over Memorial Drive is underway. We’re talking about a new bridge, not for cars but for people.
It’s called the Memorial Landbridge and Prairie and will be a big green space over tunnel lanes of traffic on Memorial Drive near Picnic Lane. This project is part of a multi-million dollar master plan to upgrade Memorial Park. However, in the meantime, it’s a construction mess. …
… Cyclists, drivers and pedestrians are left wondering, how will it impact traffic?

A police vehicle siren sounded and a boom box blasted celebratory music as the Austin resident, wearing a flannel shirt against a stiff north wind, wheeled his dusty Salsa Journeyman gravel bike up to where a …

A DUDE ABIKES | adudeabikes.com
The shortage of bicycles has been a sign of increased numbers of people riding during the pandemic. But it’s made it hard to find a new bike if you are in the market. Today though I noticed that Sun and Ski Sports has a bunch of Cannondale bikes for sale. The men’s is black, sleek and yet heavier than expected. (I didn’t see any women’s but they’re yellow.) With a 2 x 5 set-up, 10 gears will get you zipping around town on short jaunts at least. They’re a cool …

Parking lot quickly filled up, so we knew there would be a good crowd.
Registration was well organized; no long lines developed.
Front of line up. Stretched for over a block.
It was a little chilly, so Christine had multiple layers (as did I). Brrr. And we do this for fun and health. …
