Hopkins Street Pedestrian and Bike Improvements Project in San Marcos gets its contractor

San Marcos City Council selected a contractor Oct. 7 for a project along Hopkins Street between CM Allen Parkway and Thorpe Lane that will add multiuse bike and pedestrian paths as well as two pedestrian crossings.
Construction of the project is expected to begin in November, according to the city’s website. …
