Bicycle shortage expected to last months, says Richardson Bike Mart owner

In more than 30 years in business, Richardson Bike Mart owner and President Woody Smith said he has never seen a bicycle shortage like the one that has occurred since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s crazy busy,†Smith said of the demand from people wanting to do more cycling. “We’ve got 11,000 bicycles on back-order, which is probably twice as much as we normally have.â€

Airman in critical condition from bicycle wreck

RANDLETT — An airman at Sheppard Air Force Base is in critical condition after his bicycle was struck traveling the wrong way down a Cotton County road Saturday night.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Brandon Beeman, 22, was flow to United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he was admitted in critical condition with head, arm and leg injuries.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock families will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the Round Rock trails under the Texas night sky with the 8th Annual Night Rider Family Bike Ride along the Brushy Creek Regional Trail System.
