A Texas woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in Russell when she was struck by a pickup while on her bicycle.
According to dispatch logs, at 12:15 PM Tuesday, a woman at USA Express at 17 South Fossil Street called 911 to report a female on her bicycle had been struck by a 2015 GMC Sierra pickup driven by Stephan Coleman of Russell.

Rotary hits brakes on Stone Fort Bike Ride

Formerly delayed until October, the Old Stone Fort Bike Ride is the latest event to be canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The annual multi-course ride, which raises funds for the Nacogdoches Rotary Club, has been rescheduled for April 24, 2021.
