All Dressed, Rained Out Bike Ride
As I got dressed to go biking I heard thunder several times and the sky seemed to get a little darker. I filled the CamelBak with ice and water, put my shoes, helmet and gloves on before walking to the back door wheeling the Canyon Endurace beside me. Opening the back door I heard rain hitting the patio cover gently which encouraged me that maybe it was just a passing shower. I leaned the Canyon against some flower urns and walked around. The rain slowed and then stopped for a minute before resuming stronger than before. It appeared today’s bike ride wasn’t going to happen.
This was the second rained out bike ride this week. I hoped to ride enough miles today to make it a 200+ mile week but that did not happen. I ended the week at 170.75 miles and the month at 766.39 miles so far.

Where I stand on reaching my goals.

Next week if the rain will cooperate I will reach my 800 mile goal for July and ride 200+ miles for the week.
