TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – An online virtual public meeting will be held by the city of Tyler on Monday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., to present a formal hearing and presentation for proposed bike lane striping on roadways.
“This has been long in development and this is the last step before we finalize design,†said Cameron Williams, the traffic engineer in charge of the project. “The plan is to go out to bid in August, with this project, and hopefully have some bike lanes on the ground by the fall.â€

The Tyler Bike Stripes project plans to begin adding new bike lanes to the city by September, and they want your input.
TYLER, Texas — The City of Tyler will hold a virtual meeting to allow residents to debate plans for new bike lane expansions.
While the city does not have many bike lanes, city leaders hope a new proposal will make travel a little safer for bicyclists.
