Texas bicyclist dies in I-40 crash

A Pampa, Texas, man died while riding a bicycle on Interstate 40 approximately 6 miles east of Checotah in McIntosh County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The 31-year-old man, whose name was not released, died at approximately 3:05 p.m. Friday, states the report.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) – Breathing life back into Lake Wichita, that’s going on right now as the lake’s boardwalk project continues.
After speaking with the chairman of the lake’s revitalization committee, we know that work here is staying on track to be complete by spring.
“When you’re coming down the Circle Trail you can defiantly see what’s going on and I know when I ride my bike on the trail I’m always watching what’s going on,†David Coleman, Chairmen of the Lake Wichita Revitalization Committee said. “You can see the piles have gone in, they are concrete piles where the steel reinforcing is coming up.â€

Oops, I did it again! I beat last year by 490 miles! (See 2018’s recap at 5,143 Miles in 2018: 4,554 Biking + 589 Walking. Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Good for A Dude!)
