Rather Than Rain Zwifting the El Giro de Rigo
I waited on the temperature to warm up to 70+ degrees which finally happened around 11 AM. The cloudy sky looked damp so before I went to get dressed for the ride i checked the weather radar.

The blue dot to the right of the blue/green mass shows Kingwood. So much for my ride to the north. A change of plans and Zwifting became the route for today.
This is the first Zwift workout that kept up with most of the pack and near the end I led as people dropped out after the route completed.
After getting dressed I opened the Zwift app on my phone and searched for a ride. One not too long to wait and with a D class portion came up and I selected it with about 5 minutes to wait. Opening the Zwift program on my computer the sensors all connected using the app. About 1 minute before the ride started I got on the Blue Norcross AL bike and started. At the time the title of the ride looked okay until I finished the event: Women Only – #7 : V02 Bursts – El Giro de Rigo Workout Series. I missed the women only part. I hope they didn’t mind me riding along.

I decided to not record the ride and instead took photos of my computer screen during the ride.
The workout lasted 52:32 and I biked 16.22 miles. This put my virtual riding miles for October at 108.4 miles and the total for road and virtual at 734.12 miles. I hoped to ride 25+ miles on the road today to boost my road miles to 650.
Maybe Wednesday’s weather will let me ride outside but the forecast looks doubtful.
