Friends, family celebrate mountain bike national champion

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Folks at The Bike Stop are honoring an Iowa Park native who happens to be a national champion.
Aaron McDaniel took first place in the Singlespeed Men category in Canyon, Texas.
He is one of the 24 medal holders from the championships, out of more than 350 riders.
It’s one thing to ride 45.4 miles through canyons on a bike, it’s another to be crowned champion.

A grand jury has indicted a woman in the death of a prominent San Antonio bicyclist and business owner.
Linda Collier Mason, 67, faces one charge of intoxicated manslaughter. The indictment announced Friday alleges that Mason operated a motor vehicle while intoxicated and also includes a deadly weapon allegation.

Traffic Study Delays Council Committee’s Review of Bike Lanes on Broadway

Texas Brotherhood bike ride honors the fallen

Police officers and EMS personnel from across the state started a 650-mile ride to honor emergency responders who died in the line of duty. The ride is expected to last eight days, averaging about 80 to 100 miles.
