Where Is The Busby Family’s Cycling Studio? The ‘OutDaughtered’ Family Keeps Busy
By Megan Walsh | www.romper.com
When busy parents Adam and Danielle Busby aren’t looking after their six kids (Blayke, Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley, and Parker) on OutDaughtered, they’re looking after a number of business ventures. For example, they run a cycling studio along with a few partners, which is a big undertaking when you’ve already got a full-time job at home. But the Busbys seem up to the task, and at least their place of work isn’t so far from their usual neighborhood. But where is the Busby family’s cycling studio? Luckily, they don’t have to worry about a long commute when they’re trying to balance all their responsibilities.
Their indoor cycling studio Rush Cycle is in League City, Texas, which is a suburb in Houston, where the Busbys live. Though they are only in charge of …
Anybody else see this method of chip sealing?
jeffreythree | www.bikeforums.net
We have a ton of crappy chip seal around here where they don’t put enough tar down to hold the stone and don’t top seal so it ends up like a washboard. Now I keep running into something completely new where they cover the whole road with our usual gravel road surface and then return to chip seal that gravel later. I have run into it on 3 roads so far this summer, and one where I watched them laying it down. Almost like an oiled dirt road, but with stone on top. These are the northern edge of the DFW suburbs (Denton County), not way …
Bicycle Stuff Roundup and Rest Days Photographs
A DUDE ABIKES | adudeabikes.com
While I am off the bike for a few days, not really by choice, I’m searching for something to blog about. At least I’m getting some rest. Maybe I’ll try a stationary bike or try to ride anyway. I’m tempted to take a rest day from blogging, too, but obviously I’m not. What follows is a rather random brain dump of bike stuff. Just one by itself isn’t enough for a single blog, but together they add up to one. I think it’s interesting, so maybe you will too. …

Spoke & Word Newsletter August Edition

Are we enforcing the Safe Passing Law? As vulnerable road users, we need full use of our senses to see and hear cars and trucks to aid in avoiding a crash. Additionally, we need to take extra measures to ensure our safe ride. Personally, when out riding I slow down as I approach an intersection to make sure it is clear to cross. As the driver of a vehicle (my bicycle), I must stop at stop signs and red lights. Even when I have a green light or no stop …
