02 Jun 2019 8:00 AM Location: 4029 Nenana, Houston, TX We’re scheduling an extra Urban Challenge this month since we missed the last couple of months. This time we’ll be starting at Regina’s house, 4029 Nenana, which is south of the South Loop and west of Stella Link. The weather might have a bearing on our direction of travel and distance, but we usually ride between 35 and 40 miles with at least one stop for breakfast and one for refreshments. This is a fun way to see parts of Houston that you may never see or know about otherwise.

The Puzzler will be the same route as the last two years. The 50 and the 35 make a large loop around the northern portion of the range. The route this year for the 35 and 50 mile riders will be going around the mountain clockwise from the northeast, over Mundys gap to the west side Tom Mays unit, head north to Northern Pass which will take you back to the northeast side of the mountain. WACO, TX — A man known for praying on the pedestrian bridge over Interstate 35 said he is saddened to see structure being demolished.
The demolition started overnight Tuesday with removal of the portion of the bridge on the northbound frontage road.

Silver alert issued for missing elderly Alamo man

A Silver Alert has been put into play to help find a missing San Juan man.
Jose Monroy, 75, was last seen riding his bicycle and collecting cans along the streets of Alamo, Donna and San Juan.
San Juan police are seeking help from the community to help locate Monroy. He has been missing for two days.
Any information regarding Monroy’s whereabouts can be forwarded to the Alamo Police Department at 956-787-1454.
