ABILENE, Texas — The Big Country held its 4th Annual Ride of Silence.
72 local riders joined in on the silent bike ride to honor those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways.
Cyclists want to raise awareness of the importance of sharing the roadways.
There have been 9 cyclists who have lost their lives in cycling related incidents in Taylor/ Jones County.

Road fight on Bike to Work Day led to charges, suit, cyclist says

Gregg Charalambous is looking forward to Bike To Work Day, when more than 3,000 people in Austin are expected to leave their motor vehicles at home Friday and pedal to their workplaces.
