The Flower Mound Police Department’s annual “Bike with the Blue†event has been rescheduled for this weekend.

Driver Accused of Hitting Arlington Police Bike Officer Arrested

Arlington police arrested a man accused of driving an SUV that hit and injured a bike officer over the weekend.
Steven Turner, 37, turned himself in around 6 p.m. Monday, police said. He faces a charge of failing to stop and render aid, and police said he also had misdemeanor warrants for his arrest in Fort Worth.

Lyft driver who hit Arlington bicycle officer turns himself in, police say

A Lyft driver accused in a hit-and-run that injured an Arlington police officer turned himself in on Monday afternoon.
Steven Turner, 37, was arrested on a charge of failure to stop and render aid. Turner also had misdemeanor warrants for his arrest out of Fort Worth, police said.
After the hit-and-run, Arlington police released images of Turner’s vehicle, which appeared to show a light on his front dashboard that indicated he could be a ride-share driver.

The CHRISTUS St. Michael Atlanta Foundation will host the second Atlanta Tour de Forest Recreational Bike Ride on at 8:30 a.m. June 1 at the Atlanta Fairgrounds in partnership with the Atlanta Forest Festival.
