LUBBOCK, Texas – With the influx of ride-share scooters across Lubbock, city leaders are trying to address new safety concerns that come along with the new form of transportation.
City of Lubbock Councilman Jeff Griffith said it’s a top priority to ensure the safety of residents.

Fort Worth Bike Sharing continues to roll up impressive numbers as it expands its network.
Some 2018 statistics for the program:
43,236 trips. 230,241 miles. 218,272 estimated carbon offsets. (A carbon offset is a reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide or greenhouse gases made to compensate for or to offset an emission made elsewhere.) 9.1 million estimated calories burned. Currently there are 46 stations in the system, and 350 bicycles.

Patients at Shriners Hospital to be gifted with therapeutic tricycles

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The holidays might be over, but it’s going to feel like Christmas morning this weekend for a group of kids who need help getting around.
Ambucs, out of Longview, Texas, is spending the next two days assembling tricycles. The trikes are custom-built to help people with mobility issues get around.
