Is your child struggling to learn how to ride their bike? Through step by step, engaging activities we’ll help them with their cycling. Our kid-friendly instructors will provide a combination of personalized and group instruction to help overcome fears, teach important skills such as starting and stopping, and help them understand how to maneuver their bike around obstacles. This may be the only lesson they will need! Our fun, unique and proven instruction methods have helped hundreds of kids experience the joy of riding a bike. Students should arrive with their own bike with the training wheels removed. A properly fitted bike is essential for your child’s comfort and safety. They should be able to sit on the seat with their feet flat on the ground. How to Ride a Bike for Kids is for children 5-11 years old.

My first Moonlight Ramble was in 1987. In addition to staying up until 4 a.m., I remember the rest stop on Post Oak Boulevard at Westheimer and riding through Memorial Park back to downtown roughly following the Houston Marathon route. I saw areas in Houston that are familiar today but were unfamiliar to me as a new Houstonian. On a recent evening under the cover of darkness, a crowd gathered to watch 20 cyclists anxiously waiting for spotters to give the okay that traffic had cleared and the race could begin.
Over the course of the last three months, cyclists from all over Texas have made the trek to San Antonio on the last Sunday of each month to compete in the Midnight Crits. The word crit is short for criterium, a bicycle race that takes place in a circuit road race.

The countdown is on until the second annual Dallas Bike Ride, an urban bike ride on closed roads throughout the heart of Dallas on Saturday, November 3. Online registration will remain open until Wednesday, October 31 at 11:59PM CST, with special group discounts and VIP packages available.
