Fort Hood hosts 10th bike race on ranges

For the 10th time, Fort Hood’s western range roads have provided a racing venue for hundreds of Texas road cyclists.
Saturday and Sunday was the annual Texas State Road Championship Weekend – Fort Hood Challenge, with two days featuring 21 different races, both skill-based and age-based.

Teenager taken to hospital after being hit by car

COPPERAS COVE, TX (KXXV) – A teenager was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Wednesday morning.
Copperas Cove police said that a teenager was hit while riding their bicycle near Highway 190 and Leonhard Street.
Police said that the teen was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
