This Sunday is the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims
It’s been one year since I have seen my mother, the day after Thanksgiving last year.
Just over two months later we would say goodbye to her for the last time, after she biked into an intersection she knew to be dangerous, in front of an oncoming light rail train, on her way to work in Houston.

Novice ride goes at 8 am from Coit and Spring Creek at the Stonewood Professional Office Park parking lot (usual place by the dumpster). We are in for a treat: Guest ride leader Kathy Atkinson will be leading us around the town. I’ll be there at 7:45 to give the safety speech and get the waivers signed.
I can not ride a bike for another week or so due to a recent heart procedure. All went well and I’m looking forward to being back in the PBA peloton.
