Yesterday went for a roll from Spicewood Springs trailhead towards Bull Creek Park. What a seth pool and overgrown mess it was. I usta could make it all the way to Bull Creek proper and back but now it is a jumbled and overgrown mess that stopped me under the first 360 bridge. Giant families and dirty diapers all partying down in the water. I can’t imagine the trash left there afterwards.
I know it’s 4th of July weekend but man. Can’t COA weedwack these trails and send park police out to keep folks from littering? It could be such a nice area with some carekeepers. Looks Like Friends of Bull Creek has disbanded in 2014 after the pres moved away. Maybe the city doesn’t want mtb around there so they aren’t tempted to poach preserve areas?
