UPDATE @ 4:37 a.m. (Mar. 15):Martin Luther King Blvd. has reopened following a crash that killed a bicyclist, according to Austin Police.

A man has died following a crash involving a bicyclist and another vehicle in the area of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Scottsdale Road Tuesday night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
Authorities said the male victim was in his 40s.

ASI recalls some Fuji bikes because of freehub concern

PHILADELPHIA (BRAIN) — Advanced Sports International is recalling about 650 road bikes because the bikes’ freehubs can slip while the rider is pedaling. The company is replacing the freehub bodies on the bikes.
The company said that while the slippage could create a fall hazard, it has received no reports of crashes or injuries. It has received four reports of slipping freehubs.
