Bridge City woman’s small deed turns into community-wide fundraiser

Bridge Police Detective Brittany Beard Hilton poses with Ethan Shull, 5, at the Bikes for Kids event in Bridge City on Tuesday. Shull received a donated bike after one of Shull’s family members messaged Hilton, the organizer of the event, on Facebook about Shull’s holiday good deed. Shull handed out more than 160 bags filled with candy and treats to Bridge City and Port Arthur police officers. …
