Cyclists survive Pineywoods Purgatory

About 600 riders participated in the 25th annual Pineywoods Purgatory, which began at the George H. Henderson Jr. Expo Center Saturday morning.

First day of MS bike ride sees 1,500 bikers from across Texas

On Saturday afternoon at the Comal County Fairgrounds, with temperatures reaching the low 80s, bikers crossed the finish line with triumphant smiles on their faces — knowing they had just accomplished something big.
The 1,500 bikers had just finished the first day of Bike MS: Valero Ride to the River — a 159-mile journey from San Antonio to New Braunfels with a festive finish at the Comal County Fairgrounds. …
