Bike officers stop El Paso bank robbery

Officers in the El Paso Police Departments Central Patrol Bicycle Unit stopped a bank robbery Friday afternoon, capturing the suspect while he was at the teller window, authorities said.

If you haven’t been downtown in a bit, we’re finally at about 99% on the 3rd street separated bike lane. And, rather commendably, I’ve run into far fewer cars parked IN the bike lane lately.
