Riding strong for 30 years

Rotary ClubÓ³ 30th annual bike ride draws more than 1,300 riders
Bikers line up in preparation for the 30th annual Cow Creek Country Classic bike race held by the Waxahahcie Rotary Club each year. Riders come from all over the enjoy the Waxahachie and Ellis County country side as some ride more than 100 miles to the end of their race. There are also a verity of shorter rides lengths.
Cyclists from several states made the journey to Waxahachie Saturday to take part in the 30th annual Cow Creek Country Class bike ride.

Charity Bicycle Ride to Roll Through Stanton Monday

On the longest annual charity bicycle ride in the world, the Texas 4000 team will be rolling through Stanton this Monday, June 27, just 24 days after departing from Austin, Texas, on their way to Anchorage, Alaska.
In Stanton, the 2016 Texas 4000 Team will celebrate and share hope, knowledge and charity with friends and family before continuing on the 70-day journey.
The 67 undergraduate and graduate students from The University of Texas at Austin taking part will brave the rain, sleet, wind, snow and heat, and pedal more than 4,000 miles in the fight against cancer.
