Silver Falls TX rest stop to Jayton,TX: On ward without a plan
Friday May 13, 2016, 53 miles (85 km) – Total so far: 482 miles (776 km)
I Left out this morning without knowing where I would end up. The only plan was to head South at the state road going south, so in Dickens at hwy 70 I made a right turn. The Texas plains miles and of plowed fields ready for corn or cotton. I stopped in Spur,TX for a great lunch of fried catfish, hush puppies cole slaw and pinto beans with cherry cobbler for desert.
