THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Sheriff’s deputies in The Woodlands need your help in the search for the person responsible for an attack on a bike path.
A woman was walking along a path near Creekwood Park Tuesday night when a man started up a conversation with her. She said she tried to walk away when he grabbed her, pulled her down by the hair and then assaulted her.
The woman fought off her attacker, ran home and called police.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — You’ll be able to embrace the beauty of downtown Austin with a new bike and pedestrian bridge at Fourth and Rio Grande Streets. The bridge will close the gap between Shoal Creek and the existing trail in that area.

Focus recalls some Izalco Max models over fork issue

CARLSBAD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Focus is working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commision and Health Canada to recall about 510 road bikes because the carbon fiber steerer can fail.
The recall involves the 2014-15 model year Focus Izalco Max bikes with Acros-brand upper headsets. The headsets are black with the word “Acros” printed in white on the upper headset. According to the CPSC, the headset can cause the steerer to fail. The firm has received 11 reports of incidents outside the United States, including one reported injury in …
