Men riding bikes from Detroit to Austin, TX for charities
by Kristin Pierce      www.wxyz.com         Video
DETROIT (WXYZ) – Dane Wittig, Tyler Wittig and Colin McConnell are riding bikes from downtown Detroit to Austin, Texas. The three men are raising awareness and money for three “underdog” charities: Chive Charities, a nonprofit that helps veterans and people with rare medical conditions, the Coalition of Dwarf Advocacy and Healing Vercammen Hearts, a group that benefits three young boys born with congenital heart defects.
The men refer to these organizations as “underdogs” because you don’t hear that much about them, but they still need help.

Waco Riding in Cameron Park – Applies to all mtb riders really
by drmoreau      forums.mtbr.com
I am vice president of the Waco Bicycle Club and hear all kinds of stuff. Some of my friends are runners, so I hear their views too. Every ride is different, he said.
“A Corpus Christian can ride 365-days-a-year; the sights and sunrises over the bay are amazing,” Scott said. “I’ve seen bobcats, raccoons and cardinals while riding in town. I have much better …
