Past the northern suburbs of the city of Dallas and Tarrant county, mountain biking options are few and far in between. William “Palito Blanco†Mueller peddled through Dayton, Texas, Monday afternoon, Nov. 24, as part of his 4,200-mile “Plant-a-Seed Tour†bicycle ride to promote awareness of beneficial uses for cannabis and build support for its legalization.
Starting out from St. Augustine, Fla., Nov. 1, he reached Tallahassee by Nov. 7, was in Alabama the next week and Mississippi by Nov. 16. Mueller cycled into Texas Nov. 22.

Distances: 57 – 62 miles
This is an extended version of our regular Urban Challenge Rides. Distance is between 57 and 62 miles with our destination being Lake Houston. We stay in a group but you should be able to maintain a 14 to 16 mph pace. In addition to our stop at the lake, we should have a couple of other rest stops.
