EAST TEXAS (KLTV) – An East Texas woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a car while riding her bike south of Tyler Sunday morning.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, July 13, an unidentified driver ran his vehicle into a 17-year-old on a bicycle.
The victim and two friends were riding their bicycles southbound on South Timberland Drive in Lufkin when a truck struck the victim from behind. The impact threw the victim onto the asphalt and the truck traveled a short distance pushing the victim’s bicycle.
