Kerrville Texas Testamony

“I will be picking up another drive wheel when I get my next check probably somewhere around the third of next month. See I’m paralyzed and am in a wheelchair from a motorcycle wreck 30 years ago. An the hand cycle or trike is a necessity for me if I’m going to ride a bike anymore. (An I’m Going To Ride!!!) I was a mechanic so working on things is something I still do well. I wish I would of known about this kit before I bought the Nexus 8 speed internal hub for my bike to help me with the hills around here since I live in the hill country of Texas. Thanks and I’ll be looking forward to buying another drive wheel soon and will definitely spread the word about yall.” Reefard – Kerrville, TX

Riders are cautioned to not leave anything of value in sight in their vehicles while riding. Lock items in the trunk, or even better, leave them at home.

The ride was hot but not too long (at 4 miles each way), and we had people of all ages riding along. For those of us with a burning curiosity to know what happens to stuff after we recycle it, the…
Critical Thinking about Bike Lanes
by Eliot Landrum         Biking in Dallas
The Dallas biking Twitter world was buzzing this weekend about sketches of bike lanes for Main Street under I-45. This might very well be the first bike lane installed within the City of Dallas.
Sketches of Dallas’ First Bike Lane?
Traffic is a dynamic, yet fairly predictable, system. As a CyclingSavvy instructor, I always emphasize to fellow cyclists that you should never, ever let paint on the ground think for you. Your safety is more important than to…
