WESTLAKE — A Westlake cyclist rallied local businesses June 25 to give back and care for the roadways they use with the Texas Adopt-a-Highway Program.
About 100 volunteers sponsored by West Travis County businesses spent the day with a trash bag and a traffic vest removing garbage and litter from the bridge at Capital of Texas Hwy. to Bee Caves Road—a 20-mile stretch.
