It took about six minutes — the length of two Taylor Swift songs interrupted by the occasional “gobble, gobble, gobble†— for more than 1,000 cyclists to roll out of the starting point for the Turkey Roll Bicycle Rally on Saturday morning.

So I recently picked up my first “real†mountain bike, and I freaking love it. I want to really get deeper into the sport and find out what it’s all about, so I figured I’d start this blog and keep track of all my experiences.
