San Antonio becoming more bike-friendly

The City of San Antonio has installed 32 new bike racks at popular public destinations downtown including the Alamodome, the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and parks hosting large-scale events. The program, overseen by the Office of Environment Policy, is part of the city’s efforts to encourage the use of alternative methods of transportation, especially in the downtown area, as a means to promote energy conservation and improved air quality as well as healthy lifestyles. …
