Countdown to the 2008 SAM’S CLUB MS 150
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star Chapter is starting its 100-day countdown to the 2008 SAM’S CLUB MS 150, one of the largest non-profit cycling events in the United States.
Approximately 4,000 cyclists are expected to participate in this year’s two-day fund-raising event, which rides from Frisco to downtown Fort Worth on May 3 – 4 with an overnight stop at Texas Motor Speedway. Already, 1,500 riders have signed up for this spring roll through the Metroplex.
The registration fee is $25 per rider, but that fee doubles to $50 on Feb. 1. Organizers are encouraging everyone to sign up now to save $25 a piece. Online registration is available at MS150.org.
Last year, 3,000 SAM’S CLUB MS 150 riders and sponsors raised a record $2.3 million to support MS research and services for Texans living with multiple sclerosis.
The SAM’S CLUB MS 150 is one of three Texas fund-raising rides hosted by the National MS Society, Lone Star Chapter. The others are the Houston-to-Austin BP MS 150 in April and the San Antonio-to-Corpus Christi Valero MS 150 in October.
